There is still another group who fundamentally believes that big data does not really exist. They base their arguments on a simple misconception about how people use the word “big.”

Similarly, one type of application may well be best adapted for another.
In terms of big data and its applications, it may be necessary, in certain circumstances, to manage the data on a much larger scale than was previously done. This is not necessarily because the volume of data has increased. It may be because it is more complex to manage this. Whatever the reason, the point is that large data tends to bring with it a number of issues, including difficulties in dealing with it at a smaller scale.
As it turns out, the fact that we are now talking about how to manage and handle big data brings us back to the original question raised in the beginning of this article. Why is big data so popular? In other words, given all the advances in the field of information science and the ability to crunch numbers at breakneck speed, why is it that big data is such a favorite among those in charge of helping businesses and decision makers to sort out the good from the bad. If you really want to know what is variety in terms of big data, the answer is simple.
Big data, when managed properly, tends to provide businesses with insights that were previously unavailable. There are new ways of doing things, new forms of measurement, and new processes that can make managing and handling data very different from the way it was handled 20 or 30 years ago. One area where there is a great deal of variation is in choosing the format in which to present and interpret the big data that is available. The fact is that it still takes some pretty significant programming to sort out what is variety in terms of big data.
